33107 on the Weymouth Harbour Tramway.1 viewsThe Ford Granada gets out of the way as Class 33/1, 33107 heads along Commercial Road at Weymouth. The Boat Train from London Waterloo was passing the bus depot, and slowly making its way to the Harbour Station at walking pace on May 30th 1986.

47292 departs from Rushcliffe Halt.1 viewsClass 47, 47292 (D1994), brings up the rear of the 10.39 Loughborough to Ruddington service, as it departs from Rushcliffe Halt (East Leake), on the 28th April 2012. The station was opened in 1911 and was eventually closed in 1963.

Blaenau Ffestiniog - 'Lilla'.1 viewsGiving short footplate rides at Blaenau Ffestiniog on Sunday 6th May 2012, was former Quarry 0-4-0, 'Lilla' built by Hunslet of Leeds in 1891.

LBSCR 3rd Class Coach S2416 at Ashey.0 viewsBuilt in 1916 by the LBSCR, S2416 a 9-Compartment 3rd Class Coach, was sent to the Isle of Wight in 1936.
It was formed as part of the very last steam operated service from Shanklin to Ryde on New Years Eve 1966. It is seen passing Long Arch, Ashey formed in part of the 18.00 Smallbrook Junction to Wootton on June 29th 2013.

EPS 37601 - Folkestone Harbour.0 viewsAs the tide begins to come in, 37601 sits on the viaduct at Folkestone Harbour with the Pathfinder Tours 'Atomic Harbourmaster' railtour on October 20th 2007. Out of sight at the other end of the train was fellow EPS class 37, 37603. This was one of the last diesel hauled trains to traverse this line. The itinerary on that day included a trip along the Dungeness Branch. It was a long day - an 06.15 start from Crewe on Saturday morning and only getting back to Crewe at 01.24 on Sunday morning!Dec 10, 2015

37013 at Farington Curve Junction.0 views37013 trundles along the Up Slow as it approaches Farington Curve Junction whilst working the Saturday only Blackpool North to Sheffield formed of Mark 1 stock on August 13th 1983. This was a time-honoured Summer service that ran out and back on a Saturday running via East Lancashire and Copy Pit.

08954 at Plymouth.2 viewsWith the roof tops of Plymouth as a backdrop, 08954 was shunting parcel and mail vans at Plymouth station on July 26th 1980. This was a time-honoured scene at all major stations - now sadly consigned to history. The 08 was new from Darington Works in October 1962 numbered D4184, its first home was at Ebbw Junction (86A) and it was tranferred to Laira (84A) in May 1971.Nov 07, 2015
