E1 0-6-0T No.2 -'Yarmouth' at Haven Street.
Now on display in the Train Story building at Haven Street until restoration commences, Ex LBSC 0-6-0T No.2 -'Yarmouth' will be something to savour when in service in the future, a true recreation of a lost Island locomotive. There were four E1s on the Isle of Wight, the last of which was scrapped in 1960. In a deal with the East Somerset Railway in 2011, the last surviving E1 which had never worked on the island, and had been sold by the Southern in 1927, came into the custody of the IWSR.
